"The restaurant was suggested by our Free Walking tour Rodrigo (which I also recommend, this guy is fantastic) and I honestly don't understand the low reviews here. The food was absolutely amazing! I had a grilled cod and I do recommend it, it was delicious! The grilled potatoes on a side were perfect as well and the dish was also accompanied by some other side I didn't know (something like beans with couscous and spinach maybe?) but I loved it. I recommend the white home made wine, it was an ideal addition to the cod I also loved that the restaurant didn't seem like a touristic spot and was more of a place where locals would go as well. It also has fado shows, but I was during the lunch time there and can't say anything about that The service is very friendly and the waiter also speaks English A great place I'd recommend to anyone to visit to have a lovely Lisboa experience"

"Words fail me to describe how good this was. We had the fried fish with chips and an onion / pickle sauce and a pork knuckle stew which was a special for the day. Poetry should be written about this food. Amazing. The mojito was delicious and the beer was much needed. Thank you to the waiter for the food recommendations."

"Great restaurants with fado shows. The fado shows are very nice, although many tourist at this place talk through the fado. When we visited they made fado with 4 people of which 3 sang different songs, a very nice experience. The food at this place is delicious and well priced. The bacalhau and the octopus are nice. They also have various delicious desserts that are worth eating. The dessert of the house I did not find outstanding. The waiters are very nice."

"We just had a delicious authentic Portuguese lunch at Saint Andre’s restaurant. The sardines were so yummy and fresh. So was the steak and the famous francesinah. The olives were so good. Highly recommended."
